The short answer
A 6-night, 7-day group trip to Egypt from India costs roughly ₹1.8 lakh to ₹2.3 lakh per person in 2027, once you add up the land package, taxes, flights, visa, insurance and the meals and tips the package doesn't cover.
The biggest single line is the land package (from ₹1,09,999), followed by flights (roughly ₹55,000–₹85,000 for a multi-city ticket into Cairo and out of Sharm El Sheikh). Everything else together comes to about ₹15,000–₹25,000.
The figures below are for Party Passport's Egypt trip: Cairo, Giza and Sharm El Sheikh, with departures on 24–30 January and 21–27 March 2027. Prices were checked in October 2026.

What the package price covers
This is why the package is most of the bill, and why the daily spend on top is small. The land package includes:
- 6 nights in 4-star hotels: 3 in Cairo, 3 in Sharm El Sheikh
- Group airport pickup in Cairo, the private Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh road transfer, and the departure transfer
- The Giza Plateau, the Great Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum entry
- A guided Islamic Cairo day: Khan El Khalili, El Moez Street and the Citadel
- A Nile dinner cruise with live entertainment and a belly dance show
- A Ras Mohammed Red Sea boat trip with snorkelling, and an ATV sunset desert safari
- 6 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 5 dinners, plus a dedicated trip leader
Not included: international flights, visa charges, meals not listed above, entry inside the individual pyramids, optional activities such as scuba diving at Ras Mohammed, nightclub entry, and 5% GST and 2% TCS.

Flights: the line you can control most
You arrive at Cairo on Day 1 and leave from Sharm El Sheikh on Day 7. Those are different airports, so search for a multi-city ticket rather than a return.
- Into Cairo: EgyptAir flies direct from Delhi and Mumbai. It's about 6 hours. One-way fares were showing from roughly ₹25,000 to ₹45,000 in October 2026.
- Out of Sharm El Sheikh: there's no direct flight to India, so you'll connect through Cairo or a Gulf hub. Expect a little more than the outbound leg.
- When to book: January is peak season in Egypt. Booking 2–3 months out is what keeps you near the low end of the range.
Daily spends and optional extras
Food
A bowl of koshari costs about 30–60 Egyptian pounds (₹60–115). A mid-range sit-down meal is around 250–500 pounds (₹475–950). A Nile-view rooftop runs 600–1,200 pounds (₹1,150–2,300) with a drink.
Inside the Great Pyramid
The Giza Plateau visit is included, but going inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu is a separate ticket: 1,500 Egyptian pounds for foreign adults (about ₹2,850).
Tips
Tipping is part of daily life in Egypt. Keep small notes for guides, drivers, boat crew and restroom attendants.
Nightlife and diving
Club entry in Cairo and Sharm, and scuba diving at Ras Mohammed, are optional and priced on the ground. Budget separately if they're on your list.
Package prices are from Party Passport's published 2027 tiers. Flight fares, food prices and the pyramid ticket were checked in October 2026, at roughly ₹96 per US$ and ₹1.9 per Egyptian pound, and will move. The US$33 visa fee for 2027 had been reported but not yet published on Egypt's official e-Visa portal at the time of writing.
FAQ
How much does a 7-day Egypt trip cost from India?
For a 6-night, 7-day group trip through Cairo, Giza and Sharm El Sheikh in 2027, budget roughly ₹1.8 lakh to ₹2.3 lakh per person all-in. That covers the land package with GST and TCS, return flights, the e-Visa, insurance and the meals and tips the package doesn't cover. Shopping, nightlife and optional extras like going inside the Great Pyramid are on top.
What does Party Passport's Egypt package cost?
The land package starts at ₹1,09,999 per person and rises in tiers the closer you book to departure, up to ₹1,14,999. For the 24–30 January 2027 departure the ₹1,09,999 price is valid until 24 October 2026. For 21–27 March 2027 it's valid until 21 December 2026. 5% GST and 2% TCS are added on top.
Are flights included in the Egypt trip price?
No. International flights aren't included. You fly into Cairo International Airport on Day 1 and out of Sharm El Sheikh International Airport on Day 7, so book a multi-city ticket or two one-ways. EgyptAir flies direct from Delhi and Mumbai to Cairo; the return from Sharm El Sheikh usually connects through Cairo or a Gulf hub.
How much are flights from India to Egypt?
As of October 2026, one-way fares from Delhi or Mumbai to Cairo were showing from roughly ₹25,000 to ₹45,000, and Sharm El Sheikh back to India a little more because it needs a connection. Budget ₹55,000–₹85,000 for the full multi-city trip. January is peak season in Egypt, so earlier is cheaper.
Is TCS an extra cost on an Egypt tour package?
Not really. TCS on overseas tour packages is a flat 2% from 1 April 2026. It's collected when you pay, but it's an advance tax credited against your PAN, so you can adjust it against your tax or claim it back as a refund when you file your return.
How much cash should I carry to Egypt?
For the meals, tips and small spends not covered by the package, ₹6,000–₹11,000 worth (roughly US$65–115) is enough for most people, plus whatever you plan to shop or spend on nightlife. Carry some US dollars to change on arrival, and keep small Egyptian pound notes for tips.
